......................removing ac from integra?
last night my idle cam pulley thing fell out. now there is a bunch of slack
between the ac and the crankpulley *i think* and i'm thinking of just taking out (cutting) the ac pulley belt connected to my AC unit. will this hurt anything? pls help. [Modified by EVOL, 4:44 PM 1/19/2003] |
Re: ......................removing ac from integra? (EVOL)
cutting the pulley or cutting the belt connecting the pulley?
Theres a big diff between the two.... |
Re: ......................removing ac from integra? (McDade)
Why would you cut the pulley off? Why not just take the whole compressor off? No sense to leave it on without the pulley or a belt.

Re: ......................removing ac from integra? (VTEC-DA)
i meant cut the belt off.
i don't wanna uninstall the AC unit because i live in so cali and hot days are gonna require it but i wanna just replace the belt and the idle pulley later |
Re: ......................removing ac from integra? (EVOL)
i dont have my ac belt on...i heard if you turn on the ac..with no belt itll burn your compressor tho...
