ok, that is what someone else told me, so i guess it must be true. Brian at fast brakes said something about a wierd offset so a slight mod to the caliper bracket might need to be done to center the caliper, what does this mean? bend the bracket?

You can't simply bend the bracket. It's 1/4" steel. You have to take a little material off the inside of the caliper bracket (thing the caliper sits in). It'll probably need 1 or 2mm of depth removed.

I say a little, but it'll seem like a lot when you're actually doing it b/c there's so much surface area to cover.

The '96-supeku JDM ITR's have 4x114 lug pattern.

The '98-spec JDM ITR's have 5x114 lug pattern.

Rotors must fit the lug pattern.

the funny thing about ITR the rotors is that they are 4x114.3 but the size of GSR/SiR (10.3") brakes not prelude which are 11", so it means you need to look into redrilling GSR rotors or upgrading to 11" prelude rotors along with calipers.

now calipers are identical to GSRs, means that the pads should also fit

He's correct, the rotors are 10.3 but in the 114 spacing. If the calipers are the same as the Teg then the mods need to the ITR (5lug) calipers is what you need to do to fit the Prelude VTEC rotors on there...

dont bother with the 4x114 setup
