PCV breather box removal / BWR installed
B18a1 I removed my breather box and PCV valve and installed the BWR catch can. And I have this open ended pipe that plugs into the breather box/ PCV valve leftover that I circled in red. It's just gasses that come from the block. Would I be safe to run one of these mini air filters?

would it be best just to remove that piece I circled in red and insert a bolt and plug it completely? Feels like you're condescending me haha that's why I asked the question. I wasn't sure. It's where the PCV valve plugs onto but I ran a BWR catch can that eliminates the OEM PCV valve and leaves that piece I circled in red open and unplugged.

Yes, it is better to remove the hose barb you have circled in the pic you posted and replace it with a pipe plug.

How the hell did you get your block plug in? Ive tried freezing mine, sanding down the o-rings, lubing it up, and obviously the combination of all three. Im about to return it.. It just wont slide in past the first o-ring, I feel like I exert any more force on it im gonna nudge the car off the jackstands lmao.
