Private shop. I personally own a Snap-On Modis, fully updated plus the euro add-on. It's nice having the 4 channel oscilloscope built in.

This is another benefit of a good scan tool. Instead of believing the codes, I was able to get into the misfire monitors and see for myself which cylinder was dead. Took all of 5 minutes.
Hondas are pretty bad for distinguishing between misfiring in specific cylinders!

Could b ignition related, fuel related, vacuum related or bad sensor of some sort.uve got multiple misfires and lean code. I'd pay the $$ have dealer just diagnose it. I'm sure u can repair it urself but diagnose actually problems gonna b tough without good scanner..good luck

If you guys work on a lot of Hondas, it would be wise to invest in an HDS. We have one(indy shop) and it is well worth the price. We do everything in-house from keys to PCM reprogramming. We only send the cars to the dealer for warranty work.

The car is obd2. Why are you guessing? There is plenty of data available with the right tools. Take it to a shop,or invest in the proper tooling...

Because it is far better to spend all your time and money trying to figure it out than to pay an hour of diagnostic labor.

Take it to Honda and have them run it on their HDS. Youll have you answer within an hour.
