obd1 code question
 

i have a 93 honda civic dx and my cel came on again this morning. i jumped the two ports with a paperclip and i cant get it to flash any codes at all. as soon as i stick the paperclip in the ports a steady cel comes on and stays on until i pull the paperclip out. i have tried several times and still the same thing. just not sure why it isnt flashing any codes and why i get a steady light. thanks for the help

well i'm starting to think that the ecu is not storing codes at all so when i jump the ports a steady cel comes on and doesn't flash. correct me if im wrong please
