Which NGK Spark Plugs
I have a built B16a in my CRX and I'm having issues with the plugs not lasting. I am currently using BCPR6ES.
Is this the right plug for an NA which sees weekly strip use? If not, what should be the NTK part number? What if I want to squeeze a 75 shot? Should I use a colder NTK plug or how about a set of ZEX plugs? Which would be the colder NTK plug number? Thanks! Raul Modified by 7rrivera7 at 6:10 AM 9/30/2003 |

Can someone help me?

Re: Which NTK Spark Plugs (7rrivera7)
You mean NGK?
You go up on the # to get a colder plug. For instance ZFR7F is colder than ZFR6F. |

The name change has to do with import traffifs and crap... Anyway. You need to go ZFR7F-11! These NGK plugs will solve your problem, esp. with n20. |

Learn something new everyday. Those are the plugs I'm running currently. Best I've tried thus far. |

Re: Which NTK Spark Plugs (976)
Hey thanks 976. I'll go get a set today. I can use them for both NA and Nitrous right?

Yup, they all will work for N/A and nitrious, However I recommend the version with 7 for nitrious, and 6 or 5 for N/A. |
Re: Which NTK Spark Plugs (976)
Last question...
These plugs seem to be made for non-vtec engines. I have a B16a. Should I still use these or BKR6E-N-11 |
Re: Which NTK Spark Plugs (7rrivera7)
Yeah the ZFRs are what's recommended for the B18a/b according to helms. I've used them and BKRs in my GSR and both were fine.

Re: Which NTK Spark Plugs (TimoneX)
Do you know the difference between BKR6E-11 and BKR6E-N-11?
My local Pep Boys only has the BKR6E-11's |
Re: Which NTK Spark Plugs (7rrivera7)
Anyone know the difference?

Re: Which NTK Spark Plugs (7rrivera7)
I've got a list that says the N means "special side electrode", but it doesn't say WHAT's so special about it...
