i'm running a b16a 1840cc stroker kit with about 12ish CR. someone is selling me a steal price for NOS dry system. if ever i use that on my motor, will it be risky or be harmful in my motor in any way? thanks...

it depends on how big you want to go......anything over a 50.i would do a wet kit.
you'll be glad you did.

Amen. Dry kits serve their purpose for quick cheap power gains but they are rather limited and do pose some unique problems that a wet system does not.

Get a wet shot, sounds like you have some work in your motor... don't wanna put a cheap nitrous kit on it..

i agree with the above statment ... nitrous doesnt blow motors tuners do

That statement is so true. The other large component to it is system design. There is a lot more to a well laid out nitrous system than meets the eye. I have seen nitrous tunes pig rich at 3:1 Nitrous-to-fuel grenade engines and I have seen hyperutectic pistons handle 250HP worth of spray (small block mopar here) 7:1 nitrous-to-fuel with a properly laid out system. It is all about "event timing"..

oooh, sounds like there's a lot of work to be done. i thought it's just a plug and play toy. haha btw, its a dry system. do i have to dyno it again when i install it? if so, i'll just ditch the NOS

The dry systems really are (supposed to be anyway) a plug n play system. In all honestly dry systems are a halfassed means of using nitrous. You could probably sell your dry system (hooray for ebay), throw a few bucks on top of that and step into a nice single nozzle wet system. The simple design of the honda intake manifolds yield themselvs very well to a single nozzle system. You can step into a nice new single nozzle system for around $400 which is a pretty damn good deal for something that can add 100hp at the touch of a button.
