no green key LIGHT problem on CLUSTER, HELP!
no green key problem on dash did anyone had that problem? i love honda but this is driving me crazy.
i seem to have a problem than most immobilizer issues i have read, and read, but just can't seem to find a situation similar to it. Our 1998 Honda Accord v6 will crank but wont start. no spark. You can always tell if it will start or not because the green key light will not light at all then it wont start. If the light comes on it will start and it happens sometimes new key it has not affected anything. Thanks in advance for any help.
maybe main relay ?

If you have tried a new key and it still does this, next step is to check the actual immobilizer unit that is mounted at the ignition switch. It's not rare for one to go bad.

Mine kept shutting off randomly and the key would flash.
Replaced the ignition switch and it didn't solve the problem.
Had to replace the whole lock and cylinder along with the immobilizer module in order to fix issue.
Basically I took the new key and copied the rf code over from my old key after replacing. Didn't feel like spending an arm and leg at Honda.
