what iam asking is can the itr / ctr pistons handle 200+ hp? of course with other mods.... in lets say a ls vtec motor

Easily. A lot of people don't go with them simply because they're resleeving their motor.

Skunk2 Stage 1 cams, Skunk2 head with ITR springs/retainers, manley OS valves
81mm GSR block.

Yeah, a lot people seem to be making really impressive power with Stage 1's and bumped compression. By the way, thats a very impressive tq number

I take it you mean 50 thou off the head and 10 thou off the block, what sort of compression are you getting from that?

made 206whp on ls/vtec w ctr pistons, also on our type r stock bottom end we made 198

i built a stock itr motor that made about 190whp on the stock ecu.
make on average 210-220 with ctr pistons

My friend made 207 in his GSR with B16 pistons, and crower stage 2 cams. I know the topic was about CTR's. But i was just tryin to show factory pistons can handle it

my buddy made 195 to the wheels with ctr pistons jun 3 cams blue printed and balnced bottom end and jun valve train this was untuned.

i made 182hp/145tq on stock b20 pistons with a b16 head it's somewhere around 9.2 compression

What would a b18c1 make w/ ctr pistons (compression)? Safe for daily driving on 93oct? Any milling needed? What kind of whp would you get from that?
