Lsvtec conversion questions?

I'm new into the import scene. I did my search but still alittle confuse?

As of right now I have a 1993 civic egg with B18b ls motor. And I just bought a 1999 GSR vtec cylinder head and wanted to convert it to lsvtec. My first question is could i still use my DC sport 4-1 LS header or would i have to buy a new one? Second, could i still use my AEM Ls cam gears or would it not work with my GSR head? Are the cam gears different?

Last question is that my GSR cylinder head need a distributor, i think its OBD 2 but i was thinking of keepin it obd1. Could a 94-95 GSR OBD 1 distributor work on my 99 GSR head?

Pretty much i dont know much about cars or engine parts so any info or help would be greatly appreciate. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

you can use the same LS header, same AEM LS cam gears, and you can use an obd-1 gsr distributor, all with no problem.

well he summed it up pretty good.

but you will also have to do something about those dowel pin holes or the dowel pins themselves.

for dowel pins you can get the eagle dowel pins so you dont have to pay a machine shop to drill the holes out.

but what head gasket would you use?

i know the golden eagle dowel pin you have to you their head gasket with them. because a oe ls gasket, the holes are to small for the pins to go through.(i speak from experience)
