LS/Vtec VS H22a
I was wondering whitch motor is better an Ls/Vtec or an H22 well my friend is getting a 93 hatchback and he was thinking of getting an h22 but i heard the ls/vtec can beat h22 in a hatchback is that true
|
i would think the h22a in a hatch would be faster

</TD></TR></TABLE> see you heard.....thats the first bad thing you did. H22 displaces more CC's and will have a more broad power band. Then again, there are a lot of variables when comparing motors in cars. |
Re: LS/Vtec VS H22a (rsbad454)
But the LSVT will be Sooooo much easier to swap in....

Re: LS/Vtec VS H22a (joshuavillasenor)
lets say the ls/vtec was in a hatchback and the h22 was in a hatchback what would happen then
|
Re: LS/Vtec VS H22a (H22A_HB)
So you would have a bigger motor with more power in the same car. Gee, I wonder...

You'd have 2 hybrid hatchbacks ! Always there when you need me, Captain Obvious |
Re: LS/Vtec VS H22a (X2BOARD)
not another pointless thread like this...
which one is faster? you have soooo many variables; like mods, driver, condition of engine, etc. h22 has more displacement but the downfall is the tranny and ease of installation.wheight gain campared to b-series is minimal. b-series less displacement but better tranny. |

</TD></TR></TABLE> What IS the weight gain ? I'd always heard 80lbs.... |
