ls/vtec question.
 

does the year of the block matter with obd? like if i throw a b16a2 head on an obd 1 ls block will i use obd 1 or 2 wiring? im buying an obd 1 ls engine for 530 is why im asking and im a little confused one the wireing issue as far as what im going to be able to use obd 1 or 2 and what not. i plan on probably throwing a b16a2 head and gsr tranny on it. any info will help me out and any additional info you guys might think i need. thanks guys.

what year and make of the car?? go by what ever obd dizzy you are going to use....

so can i use a obd1 wiring harness on a '00 ITR head. cuz my ECU is 0db1. but i think it would be better to go obd2 cuz the car is a '00 LS

basically you can use obd1 or obd2 harness just like the other topic said go with whatever your distributor is.

the car im putting it in is a 98 civic hatch.... i can get the b18b engine from a 94 or 95 (notsure what year it is exactly but one of those) which is obd 1. i need to know if it being obd 1 is gonna conflict anything.

so ill just use an obd1 ecu then, correct? and i can stilil put on a b16a2 head without any problems even though it came from an obd 2 engine?
