Keyless Entry Remote Question
 

97 Civic FYI.

I went out to get in my car today and hit the unlock button on my keyless remote. I hit the unlock button and it didn't do anything. The light on the remote didn't come on, and the car didn't unlock. I hit the lock button just to see what would happen, and nothing happened with the car, but the red light on the remote stayed solid, and didn't turn off until I hit the "Option" button a couple of times.

Anyone have any idea what this means? I can't find the damn users manual for the remote. I didn't spill anything on it or anything like that. Anyone had this happen before?

try changing the battery. If that doesn't do it, replace the remote.
