k&n air filters...differences???
is there any differences in the actual performance or filter quality of the regular universal air filters they make and the ones with the carbon fiber or titanium end caps? just wondering because the ones with the rubber endcaps are half the price of the ones with CF and Ti. is the performance still the same for both versions?

if it's the same filter with different end caps...then no.
edit = cf + ti are usually bling factor [Modified by Tweakmeister, 9:03 PM 2/14/2003] |

it doesnt say the filters are any different, just the end cap. no need for bling for me.

yeah I think they're trying to appeal to the altezza generation...

hehehehe, they describe the CF and Ti end cap filters as being a third of the weight of a standard filter. what are we talking, about 2lbs difference tops https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif and for 2X the price. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif guess its time to order the regular rubber end filter

just get a real k&n filter.... the only filter you will ever need for the rest of your car's life...... if you take care of it...... i dont trust other filters that are not oiled or are made of sponge element..... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
