Jumpy Idle

After my car warms up I get a jumpy idle. It flucuates form 800-900-800 and so on. The motor is a 2nd gen B16A in a 91 CRX HF. I also eliminated the O2 sensor since I was only running one and it had a bad miss. The strange thing is I'm not throwing any codes for it. My main concern right now is the idle.

idles tend to get lopey when the valves are not set to spec. something I would look at. typically this happens when a few are too tight and others are to spec or a bit larger.

OK, thanks. I was wondering if I could have air in my coolant system also? Would the fast idle vlave affect this? I'm going to set the timing today since I've had the dizzy off a few times. I'll set the valves too.

if you had air in the coolant the thing would run hot https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

is there any way of getting rid of air in the coolant aside from flushing?

"burp" your baby y0

open the radiator cap when cold, let the bubbles come out by squeezing the upper radiator hose, then add coolant as you go as needed.

if you have a 95 GSR, it has a bleed valve... damn that 95gsr... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

Yea I went to go time my car and the light was burnt out so I need to find another timing light now. The idle, I'm still trying to find out what's wrong.
