jerky throttle

ok so ive had this car all winter and when i first start the car it drives/feels perfectly normal. if i go to the store or get gas or something along those lines and go start the car again its totaly different. once i hit around 2k rpm's the car will jerk sometimes and everytime i give it gas/let off the gas its a sudden jerk. sometimes after a while it will smoothen its self out but that usualy doesnt happen. this only happens when the car is shut off and then turned back on again while still warm. any ideas?

IAC valve. Probably not acting up for a long enough time to trip the CEL. I'll bet the throttle feels like its either "on" or "off" past 2000 rpm with no middle ground when the car is acting up.

Sounds like you might possibly have a vacuum leak. i had this problem with my b16 a couple years ago. caused the car to buck at low Rpms. check all of your vacuum lines for cracking or any hoses that could have came off. u can also use brake clean while the engine is running and see if the sound of the engine changes. Rpms going up or down.
