I was looking into a J swap and had a few questions.

-It seems very hard to find a manual transmission, and when I do they want an arm and a leg. I've seen some auto transmission swaps before, but not very many. I know the auto transmissions aren't very strong, but I plan to keep the engine mostly stock, and even in stock form it would be a big improvement. -Have any of you done a J-swap with an auto transmission, was it a lot more hassle?
-Is there any particular ones that are better than others?


I don't mind doing fab work or wiring, but sometimes there are unforeseen issues that cause a lot of hassle (for example, maybe it's hard to get the auto transmission to shift right, etc...).
