Intermittent dying with tough restart
I have a 92 civic Hatchback with a 96 acura b18 swapped in it. Recently my car has been dying at random times. It usually does it while coming up to a stop or while sitting at idle. Sometimes it starts back up immediately and sometimes it won't start for a minute or 2. It has also at times while driving had just a random drop in power for a second or 2 then revs right back up. Today for the first time while driving it just lost power with no throttle response then eventually died. It took it took me a couple of minutes to get it to start back up. After i did get it started it drove fine the rest of the way home. It seems to be getting worse and I've been racking my brain trying to figure out where to even start looking for problems. It doesn't make any weird noises and drives perfectly normal all other times. When it first started acting up I replaced the plug wires and distributor cap. The spark plugs had been changed not too long before. After doing so the problem disappeared for a month or so and then one day just started dying again. If anyone has ideas or may have experienced this before please help.
