Inquiry: B16a2 jdm Head Gasket Specifications.
I have a 1996 honda civic b16a sir II
i bought the car about 3years ago.
Ever since it gave me problems, blown head gasket everytime. So i bought a B16a2 block and it has already been shaved and i also shave the head. Im new to this.
Question is:
what type of head gasket do i use( oem or cometic) and what must the thickness be?

OEM Thickness is 0.7mm or .0027". With a head / block resurfacing you would still use an OEM headgasket no change in thickness. Static compression may go up, but very negligible. Not enough to make any difference in tuning.
