inner tie rod on 95 integra

hey guys,

i need help badly. i cant figure out how to remove the inner tie rod on my passenger side. it was bent when i hit a cinder block wheel head on. i was looking for a o-ring near the ball joint but cant find one. is it possibly the nut holding the tie rod in?

thanks for any help!!!1

yeah the bolt holds it on and you'll also have us a balljoint spliter to get it off, "or separate it. go to a junk yard and get one off a Interga, LS, GSR. it will be fine and alot cheaper than stock.

If you want my old tie rods, I still have them for special occassions. Complete with castle nuts. You'll have to get the cotter pins tho from a hardware store or Honda.

I replaced them with the SRR tie rods under the advice that one of the balljoints in the tie rods had too much freeplay, but upon wiggle inspection, there's no play in the joint.

Edit: Ok, I kinda take that back...the passenger-side tie rod has a bit more freeplay than the driver-side. Knocks a little bit more.

New OEM Honda tie rods are around $30/each. Napa units are considerably cheaper, and might be the way to go if you auto-x or road race quite a bit.

Forgot something else:
You need a pittman arm puller, 19mm and 22mm box wrenches to remove/install tie rods.
