I need help!! ODB2 specialist
OK!
First I start to have power problem and it's seem like a catalytic coverter broken.
My second problem --->I don't have the money to replace it, so im gonna remove all the broken parts in it.
So with part missing the oxygen sensor will detect a problem (check engine)
Can I bypass the oxygen sensor on a ODB2 computer and how???
No job, no money

The quick fix
The secondary O2 is there to read catalyst effiency.
The more oxygen in the mixture the better....
So all I do is simply REMOVE the O2 sensor, plug the bung up, and let the secondary O2 read open atmosphere.
I attach it to the 10mm holes that are already pretapped and above your heatshield.

Re: I need help!! ODB2 specialist (hatchbacksir1)
ok I have a Si B16A2 engine.
If I understand I remove the sensor O2 from the catalyst and put it where?
In the floor of the car?
I have a custom catalytic converter on my car !!
So what you tell me is if I hold the sensor in my hand the light will not turn on??

The thread at the top of the page was meant to help out here.
Catalytic Converter
The statement about "more oxygen the better" is totally wrong. In theory, the Catalytic Converter USES oxygen to do its job, and since this is the case, coming out of the Catalytic Converter is a mixture that should be pretty devoid of O2. This will make your O2 want to stay up at about .7V or so.

Re: I need help!! ODB2 specialist (hatchbacksir1)
i've had 2 straight pipes. the first one had a hole for the o2 sensor, and the check engine light was on the entire time. the second one straight pipe on my gs-r didn't have a hole for the o2, so i tied it to my shift linkage with a plastic tie-wrap. the check engine light turned off and has stayed off, and i've had no problems. the cat does use o2 to turn co to co2. if ur check engine light is because of a straight pipe, ur car will probably run rich because it thinks there is too much air. this will eventually dirty up everything.

It was throwing secondary o2 sensor codes.
The secondary O2 sensor is only there for one reason. To check catalytic converter efficiency. If there is oxygen, (yes its plentiful in clean emissions) its clean, so if it reads open atmospheric oxygen levels it thinks the cat. works great. Resulting in no check engine light.

If theres "plenty of O2 in clean emmsions"...then why at stoich (14.7:1) is there a COMPLETE combustion...which would mean that all the fuel and ALL the air are gone...where is this extra O2 you speak of from cleanER emmsions?
