hub nut size???
what size socket do i use to take off the hub nut with the notch for a 2000 SiR? helms mentioned 22 but a 24 won't go in. i did a search and some says 30 while some said it's 32mm. so what's the size exactly?
will using a breaker bar work on taking that big nut off? |
Re: hub nut size??? (_Endless_)
32mm on my 94 Integra. Yes a breaker bar should work, did on mine. Make sure to open up the part that gets punched into the notch on the axle end. Do not try to use an old nut over. Make sure to torque the nut to spec and punch the new nut in fully. If the nut is not properly tightened or loosens later, the wheel bearing can be damaged.

Yep, both are 32mm. |
Re: hub nut size??? (poison)
Integra is just a Civic in fancy duds with a bigger motor. That's why so many parts bolt in to Civics with no problems.

like Mohudsolo said. an integra is a "classy/sporty" civic. but literally, the chassis design for the DC integras was based completely off of the EG civics. my EG hatch has 95 GS-R carpet, seats, full dash conversion, a 90-91 teg steering wheel, and let us not forget the motor, but the point is......It all bolted right in with little to no extra effort.
