How hard is it to replace a ecu on a 98 honda civic ex?

pull the carpet back, 4 bolts and unplug it (10 minutes)

right below your glove box, its on the passenger side wall, underneith the carpet

Revove kick panel to access the ecu, and do as he says, and then unhook the harness from the sockets of the ecu, and bam! All done.
