Help Please!!!
 

I just go finished installing a factory security system on a frineds car. I followed the instructions provided on Majestic Honda to the T. Now Im tryng to test it and nothing. soo I look on the manual I read about programing the remotes and I sayd to press and hold the Vale swich wich is sopose to be that little bar on the factory radio between the two button on the right side adjasent to the LCD on the radio but the problem is that this is solid theres nothing to press. It's an LX model civic and yes I did conect the neg battrie wire back. Please help what do I need to do?
