Here's the old writeup:
http://web.archive.org/web/200....html
My car is still sitting covered in my driveway in a wooded area. I don't know when I'll ever drive it again 2200 miles away
I am not looking forward to cleaning it out again. It's been sitting for years. I opened the hood before I moved, and there were piles of chewed acorns, and my reservoir covers were shredded. Damn mice & squirrels.

to get all of the mouse **** out of the ductin you will have to pull the dash and all of the piping out and clean it by hand. my brother had one of his service techs at the cadillac dealership do this to a 94 seville a few weeks back as punshment detail.took him 10 hours to get it out and back in. the car still stinks like mouse ****.

Re: HELP! acorns stuck in my heater blower!!! (dryeager)
here's some pics from when I dropped my blower motor in my 99 EM1. Found a dead baby mouse in there (haven't uploaded that pic yet)...hope this helps since all the links I tried were dead
this is what you should see when you look underneath your glove box. remove the passenger kick panel(secured by two push pins, 1 interior color on the side and 1 towards the back that is black)
here's that cover removed
when looking up at the blower, you'll see a connector going into the middle with two wires(mine were blue in color with stripes, unplug this) 3 T25 screws hold in the blower motor and it drops down.

Re: HELP! acorns stuck in my heater blower!!!
I just dropped my blower motor as above and found a bunch of insulation!
So how do these "mice" (or anything else) get in there? Where is the opening(s) that lead into the blower motor?

Re: HELP! acorns stuck in my heater blower!!!
Most common way for mice to get into car/heater box is through an open fresh air vent.
When storing car make sure vent is closed, press recirc button.
I have a number of mouse traps in my 94LS when I store it for winter, use traps not poison.
For those about to clean out mouse nests in heater boxes, wear a mask and gloves, mouse turds are nasty things.
The best way to do it is to pull dash and remove heater box and duct work from dash, split box open outside or well ventilated area, use the mask and gloves, wash everything with disinfectant. 94

Re: HELP! acorns stuck in my heater blower!!!
On most cars the openings are on the pass. side, recirculated air intake is just behind glove box and the fresh air intake is just above it with opening just below pass. wiper.
You should see the recirculation/fresh air "door" when you pull the glove box.
Mice tend to stuff things in every nook and cranny they can find and they crap everywhere, that is why a dash pull and heater box removal and split is the best way to get it all, you may even find "nests" or stashes outside the heater box, behind dash. 94

Re: HELP! acorns stuck in my heater blower!!!
I am digging this thing back up from the dead to see if anything is still out there on the internet about this. The wayback time machine web archive link was even broken so unless some of the OP's are still around then this might be a lost cause.
The other day I was cruising through a heavy downpour with the fan on full blast and a bunch of debris came blowing out of the upper passenger side dash vent. It was crazy. I assume I need to get in there and clean it out so just looking for a little help.

Re: HELP! acorns stuck in my heater blower!!!
All CRV owners should learn that there is a gap in the body work in the front wheel fender area that allows mice to enter from the wheel well. It can be accessed and screened from the outside (remove the tire and the fiberglass wheel well cover).
