Default Harbor Freight Valve spring tool: What's the verdict on its use?

has anyone used this particular valve spring compressor tool from harbor freight? https://m.harborfreight.com/universa...not%20provided. I will use on B18A1 with Brian crower valves and Brian crower dual valve springs. Just wanting to know if it will fit/ work right for what I would use it on. Thanks!

Looks like the HF site is down momentarily, but if it is the same one I am thinking of, it did not want to properly grasp the springs with the bottom clasps. I'd start torquing it down and it would slip off. Stock springs on D16Z6 though., I took that biotch back for a refund lol!

That one from harbor freight is the same one I have, if you use zip ties on the top and bottom of the clamps it works decent, still not great.

(You need this hole so you don’t hit the part that connects to the magnet) and I just tapped it with the head of a big hammer. This was used on a Brian Crower dual valve spring, retainer, and valve.
