h22 skunk2 pro 1 cam info
i just degree'd my cams in and wanted to spread the word on the adjustments made.
my block HAS NEVER been decked to my knowledge
my head HAS NEVER been milled to my knowledge
according to skunk2's site a "quick setting" for the cam gears is +3 degrees on the intake and +4 degrees on the exhaust.
well, THEY ARE DEAD ON.
yes im using a dial indicator and degree wheel to get my numbers/measurements.
tuner cam gear users:
+3 degrees = 1.5 marks/lines on the gear
+4 degrees = 2 marks/lines on gear
pro cam gear users:
+3 degrees = 3 lines/marks on gear
+4 degrees = 4 lines/marks on gear
i was skeptical if the site's "quick setting" was accurate and to my surprise its dead on.
just wanted to share...

Re: h22 skunk2 pro 1 cam info
Hey man, any luck on that project how did it go? i'm asking cuz i did the same and according to my degree & dial indicator i got ex=3, in = 3 maybe because i'm using a .45mm head-gasket but was definitely shooting for 3,4 any input appreciated...

Couldn't help but bring this one back from the dead.... I just called skunk2 about the pro1 quick settings (since I'm using the same cams) and was told they're -1 intake and +3 on exhaust(pro series gears), since you normally have 4 dgree's in separation between camshafts so the valves do not kiss.
