GSR tranny parts on B16 tranny?
I need to replace the clutch housing and differential in a B16 tranny from a '96 del Sol VTEC, will a GSR clutch housing and differential work with the remaining B16 tranny parts?
thanks,
Jared

differential won't work, not enough space ....by clutch housing, you mean pressure plate, if so then its a yes

No, by clutch housing, I mean that side of the tranny casing, also called bell housing in a rwd configuration.

the bell housing and top pieces are all interchangeable, the difference is the bolt pattern on the differential and the shape fo the carrier bearings. Also, you need to ad shims to put a GSR/type diff into a b16a/LS(92+) diff. Obviously you check preloads after doing this interchangeably.
