fuel pump / filter
would a bad fuel filter or fuel pump contribute to preventing my car from starting from time to time.... when i start it it idles extremely low barely kicking over and in most cases wont rise RPMs and die... when i try and kick it over again it just winds over and over on the batterys power... after about 10 minutes it will fire up in a heartbeat and be ready to roll..... my hypotheses is that it could be either the fuel pump, fuel filter, or bad injectors...? ] any thoughts appreciated... tia...

I have the same problem as you have, after I installed used 390CC DSM injectors, I guess you should look at fuel pump/injectors.

No, this is a way common misconception.
I'd check the distributor cap and rotor first. If you're still running stock wires after 50k miles since the last change, I'd opt to change those. Also, if you haven't changed your plugs in that time, now would be a good time to change them. Next I'd check all my vacuum lines to make sure they weren't leaking. Could also be an intake manifold or throttle body gasket. Also: Let me help you in another way. This isn't superhonda, and we don't list our mods in our signature, you're going to get flamed. You may want to change that ECU back to stock. You can find LS ECU's w/o too much trouble. Sounds like it's dumping too much fuel in for a near-stock car.
