Fresh motor Lsvtec My Vtec is on and off
hey guys i have problem with my vtec its on and off. disconnect the wire on vtec solenoid my oil pressure read 80 psi and idle 40's. then when my vtec works and feel sound and engagement and my oil pressure read 80ish. it doesnt matter if 80psi. sometimes when solenoid activates oil pressure drops 75-65 but no vtec engagement.
now we know the pressure is good why my vtec doesnt kick in all the the time?
ECU is good change it twice. wire is good and the oil pressure switch i already bypassed. solenoid change it twice and both of them click. screen is clean.
wat else can it be when solenoid opens up but once its open oil drops 15psi from 80psi and no vtec. when vtec actually engage the oil pressure is steady 80psi?
I read some topic and it says check for the O ring in the middle of the cams and under the cam beside the distributor under the cam for the plug and block plug. but im thinking i got lots oil pressure. why? anyone? why im losing oil pressure when solenoid opens up and no vtec engagement? something clogged up in the oil passage to tru the cam?
