flash CEL?
 

well i just finished my h2b swap and currently having a CEL flashing when i turn the car on the ON position... when i go to check the CEL i get nothing (no flashes)... flashes 3 times fast on the ON position... what does this mean?

Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn ign. switch on? 94

it primes cause car starts and runs fine.... just that the CEL flashes when u have it on the ON position...

It is the ECU/ECM that turns on the CEL, if no codes are stored, I would assume there is nothing wrong other then the ECU/ECM not sending a proper signal to the CEL.

Is the CEL out when you are driving the car or engine is running?

You say it is running properly. "car starts and runs fine", What is the MM&Y of the car and is it auto or 5 speed? 94

it stays lite like normal when u first turn it on but if u leave it on the ON position it flashes 3 times fast and goes away other than that it doesnt come on...

its a 97 civic hatch with h2b running obd 1 p72 ectune... i had the swap in my 4dr integra which never did this but swapped it over to my hatch.... it doesnt really bother me but just want to know why is it doing that

Im having the same thing with my car.. I had my swap in a different car also running ectune swapped it in a different shell and now mine does the same thing.. but it flash's two times instead of three before I start it.
