AN fitting for manifold vacuum line?

I am just curious how this is done? Drilling out the stock little nipple piece and threading it or what? Here's a picture of what I'm talking about, I'd ask the owner but I forget what HT member has this car now...

its the fake "clamp style" an fittings as i think i can make out the clamp underneath. You could use one of those or the factory nipples are not too bad to remove and you can tap it to accept an NPT to AN adapter or something like that.

Cool thanks! I was wondering if it were the hose clamp AN fakes but I didn't think they made them that small and couldn't see any bit of the clamp. Fooled me for sure. What is that like a -2AN line? Is there even such a thing as a -2AN line or fittings? I've only seen -4AN as the smallest but that line looks way smaller than that!

Everything I see is by 2's though for lines and clamps. I know they make -3AN tube fittings but I haven't seen hose fittings in that size.
