Engine starting troubles...
 

Sometimes when i turn the key to start my motor it will just make a whining sound. Other times it starts right up? What could casue this?

It's kinda tough for me to hear it from here...

Does it sound like the starter motor is just spinning wild? That can be a couple things. Starter solenoid doesn't throw the pinion out properly so it engages the flywheel? Maybe the flywheel has a couple teeth broken off??

Yeah, coincidentally enough i was at checker and i had the problem. The employee was outside and he heard the noise too. Thats what he said, the flywheel is most likely missing some teeth...
It just sounds like it is spinning, but straining a little bit. Other times it just starts up no problem.
