Dumb question here !
 

Ok I have a basic understanding of my car and how it works ... but in my ever lasting thrist for knoledge about it .... is there a diffrence between BHP and WHP ? and Yes I feel dumb for having to ask but it seems in europ people use the term BHP and here its HP or WHP what is BHP ? ok done being stupid now thanks guys !

there is a difference. WHP is the power that ends up at the tires after it has been transferred from the flywheel. The BHP is the crank power that the engine puts out before its transfered to the wheels.

i think.

BHP is just a factories way of making the engine sound stronger than it actually is.
