Driveshaft question

I have a 93 YS1 tranny and obviously need 93 Ls driveshafts and a halfshaft. But what do the driveshafts and halfshaft look like? Are the driveshafts male/female and the halfshaft male/female? I need to know the configuration, thanks.

Re: Driveshaft question (85mm LS VTEC)

pass side would be male/male, the driver side would be female/male if i remember correctly. the half shaft will be male/male.

Re: Driveshaft question (85mm LS VTEC)

idk i bought this from a friend who had it in a crx, with cable tranny. but that drivers side being male/female and the half shaft being male/male is more like a hydro tranny axle setup, not the cable ones

call up a parts store and ask them or go look at one at a parts store and then youll find out, but im pretty sure the way RAB said is for hydro trannys not cable

Re: Driveshaft question (civickiller)

yeah. im thinkin im correct for the driveshafts concerning a hydro tranny, but i dont know why they would change within the year depending on the tranny.

Re: Driveshaft question (RABHonda)

as far as i know all cable trannys used male/male axles with half shaft being female/male. well trannys that used half shafts
