Default D16Z6 purge control solenoid valve delete?

I have a '92 Si with a d16z6. It's behaving like there is a vacuum leak but all the lines look good. The evap purge solenoid on the back of the intake manifold has the cap on top broken off and there is a hole in it. I can't find any matching parts in yards around my area or online, or even oe replacement online anywhere. I'm wondering if I can just delete the part and cap the line from the manifold to stop the vacuum leak? Would I need to put a breather on the line from the charcoal canister to vent to atmosphere? Would there be negative effects to just capping the line at the manifold?
