Cutting my spring on my H&R Coilover set up? Should I do it?

Alright, i droped my car as much as i can, but there is still a little a gap, like a finger. I want it a little tucked. I was thinking about cutting the front spring like one coil. Should I do this? Would it mess up the spring rate? Or should i just get a set of eibach sportline and just cut those?

Please dont do that. That will just mess everything up. You should buy a set of adjustable coilovers. Your car is actually perfectly balanced and level. The reason that you see a bigger gap in the front is because the fender well is bigger up front.

So in other words, do yourself a favor and dont cut them. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

If you have a set of H&R Coilovers already and it still isn't low enough, they do make an 'Ultra-low Coilver' kit for certain applications, quite a few Hondas.

Go to htttp://www.hrsprings.com, then go to the Application guide and see what they have.

Cheers

There is absolutely no benefit of lowering your car that much. All it does is eat up suspension travel and cause you to scrape over things like driveways. Shocks need a certain amount of travel to work well, and the shocks you have are designed to work within the range of travel provided by the height adjustment of the kit. If you're more concerned with having a tiiiite ride y0 then get something else that can lower the car more. Just don't cut the springs.

That would be the dumbest thing you could do... But a setup so superior as the H&R coilovers and wanna cut the springs https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emhammer.gif ... i love my H&R's , wont ever part them away...
