95 civic coupe with LS motor. Please help. I been to dealership sites and its $8 a piece for the converter bolt (#4) that connects to the next exhuast pipe. The current bolt and nut are stripped. I need to cut them off. See picture:

What would be the correct size at some place like Lowes?
What are the sizes for the exhuast system?

I believe that one is an 8x1.25mm bolt... dunno the length though, may have to measure it and add ~20mm

a little background please - which bolt are you looking for?

some (maybe most) of the commercially available bolts are off by ~1mm compared to Honda... i.e., a 8 x1.25mm bolt from McMaster will have a head size of 13mm; not 12mm. (sometimes)

I found the size of it on a website, so for the record it has a M20 sized thread (connects to the oil filter). Now to fit my sandwich plate and oil pressure gauge....

BUMP!

Doing an engine bay shave and i want to clean it up with some finisher bolts/nuts. I need to know the following sizes

-UCA nuts
-Strut nuts
-Master cylinder nuts
-Fuel rail bolts
-Throttle body bolts

(sorry i know this is a bolt thread but i figured asking the sizes for some of the nuts would be okay)

These are all for H-Series

Here is a general rule for knowing the thread pitch for the bolt.

10mm head = 6x1.0mm bolt (or nut )
12mm head = 8x1.25mm bolt
14mm head = 10x1.25mm bolt

I'll get back to ya about the 17mm head suspension bolts

Here's a random good one:

OEM oil cooler nipple into block coolant jacket- M16x1.50x~20mm

I'm having the hardest time finding a flange bolt locally to cap the hole.

There are a few on McMaster Pg 3099 "Metric Class 8.8 Zinc-Plated Steel Special Pitch"

P/N 91180A860 might suit your needs

McMaster has some, $36.24 each
P/N's

26015A281 (Taper)
26015A282 (Plug)
26015A283 (Bottoming)

Do you plan on tapping an unthreaded hole or chasing the threads on an existing O2 mount?

Seb

Correct I was going to comment that tapping a hole that large would require some tapping fluid or some other sort of lubricant. It would be a wise idea to use it to clean rusty threads also. Maybe just some penetrating fluid or wd-40 at the minimum.

Bringing this one back from the dead....Hoping someone can help?

Need to know the thread pitch on the engine stiffener for an 92 Integra LS. It is the 17mm bolt that connects the stiffener to the transmission?

Any help would be great! Thanks.
