clutch problems

ok when i am driving on the interstate the clutch pedal goes to the floor. and doesnt want to work. i mean it stays engaged for me to drive in 5th gear but i have to manually pull it back up and then pump it to prime it back up to work then i can down shift and go. when i drive around town it doesnt do this just only on the interstate cruising about 70-90 mph.

Re: clutch problems (Jimmy)

your spead really wont affect anything to do with your clutch, what it seems is you have a faulty clutch master cyl and a leak somewhere, i would definitely look into that before it gets serious.

Re: clutch problems (chameleon)

well the clutch resevior stays full so there isnt a liquid leak or were you describing some kind of pressure leak. i apoligize for my ignorance, but thanks for the info so far.
