in addition to that, did you resurface the flywheel?

what is breaking in the clutch?...i mean its been a good month or two...and no i didn't resurface the flywheel could that be one reason?

Re: (yellowctr97)

not resurfacing could definately be a problem. Breaking in the clutch is just driving easy on it for a good 500 miles before taking it over 4-5k rpms. Also no clutch dumps either. The reason you need to resurface is because the flywheel is worn to the old clutch disc. You need to resurface to make it able to wear to the new one.

alright thanks i'll take and get it resurfaced asap...i mean it is a stock clutch from advanced hopefully resurfacing will eliminate the slipping

just make sure you drive easy on it for a couple tanks of gas. shift at around 3-3.5k
