CEL: Code 15
This is on a '98 Civic EX, it was having some ignition issues so I pulled the distributor cap off found out the coil was over the service limit. I left the keys in the ignition (by accident, lol) and when I went to pull the coil out it sparked on the ICM connection. Car is not starting anymore and the coil and ICM have been replaced with known working ones to rule them out.
Checked for power at pin A21 with the key on (On II) and there is no voltage, would it be a short or some kind of fuse? |

Re: CEL: Code 15
Have you checked the underhood fuses?

Re: CEL: Code 15
All but the big ones, the 40 amp ignition fuse looks fine.

Re: CEL: Code 15
Checked the connector to this distributor from battery voltage with the key on, no voltage. Did a continuity test from the harness connector from the distributor to the driver's side plug and it seems like there are no shorts.
I'm stumped, can someone help me out? |
Re: CEL: Code 15
Found the problem, didn't know there was an ignition coil 15A fuse underneath the dashboard. Found the electrical diagram on Motoralldata, checked the fuse and it was blown!
