Carburator kits
 

A few questions, i get the idea but im not exaclty sure if i could do all this in one setup safely. I tried asking a couple of friends but they all have the same thing to say about a thought i had about carburator kits, they all say FI is better if i want to boost. heres the one i read about... http://129.33.208.36/LWeberCarbKit.jpg

lol... you can call me a n00b all you want, i know im new to the honda scene...
but this is what ive wanted to do..

on an eg, b18c1, jdm 4-1, carburator kit, skunk 2 intake mani, arc... just a lil bit i can afford since im only 16...

ive always been interested in making an eg/gsr turbo, i was wondering if having a carburator kit would make any difference, ive personally seen the same kit on an EK... didnt ask they guy if it made a good difference but it sounded great, id say better than a 5.0L stang

Bad idea because you still need something to run your ignition system, also tuned carbs wont be as efficient as fuel injectinon. Also, there is no way to tune carbs with 2 fuel maps, itll either be too rich for non vtec or be too lean for vtec. If you must have something why not get ITB's the look similar but are way better.

If you put a plenum over it you "can" use carbs but again it wont be as good.

side drafts are great but for a b eries i would stay FI..and if you plan to boost you have to stay FI. i ran carbs on my old cars and theres nothing like them. like stated before you cant run 2 fuel maps. now them on a nonvtec motor then we are talking!!!!! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

Fuel injection is more efficient, makes more power and is easier to tune than carburettors, so why would you want to use them?

lol well i did see them on a few cars, and it sounded great and this one dude in a ek HX was easily pulling past this 350z after the peessan did a fly by
