Okay before i rebuilt the motor i had coolant and oil mixing,,so i bought a brand new oem gasket from honda,couple months later i needed to rebuild my motor due to piston rings going out.Just finished my semi built motor and used SAE motor oil to break it in,now that i changed my oil to coventional oil now iam have a little leak at the head gasket by the 4 area head.So can you resuse the head gasket a couple times or no because i took out the head a couple times and reused the head gasket.

yes but i wouldn't recommend it.
people use cooper spray when they reuse head gaskets.

IMO I wouldn't re-use it. I could be wrong.

its cheap insurance for the long run. reusing a headgasket is stupid i think pointless to have a rebuild and use old gaskets. save money and buy a new one

it was new,i drove around on it a month,,then the rebuild.

so it wasnt new when you did the rebuild, once they are crushed they should not be used again, some people do, some people dont. They are like 60$....thats worth me not having to pull it all apart again and still have to spend that 60$....or worse yet what if it causing coolant to leak into your oil, then you fuct an engine to save 60$
