Cable tranny into hydro shell?

Has anyone ever converted a hydraulic transmission shell (95 gsr) to adapt a b16-j1 trans? Or any cable trans for that matter. I have a j1 here, and dont particularly have the money to go and buy a hydro trans. Has anyone ever converted, or knows how this would be done? Thanks,
Chris

no it wont work. only the 92-93 YS1 GSR gears will work in a hydro caase

i just swapped a 91 ls complete swap engine + trans(cable) into a 92 eg.(hydro). jus replace the peddle assembly and drilll a hole in firewall for the cable to come through... to measure where to drill hole, measuer distance from the four stud holes from brake booster to hole for cable on clutch pedal if im not mistaken its 3 1/2 inches over and 1 1/2 inches up. make sure though before u go drilling. o yea and the tranny mounts alittle diffrent... get a little creative and u can make it work.
