Broken VSS?

Will this still work?
It's kind of hard to tell whats going on exactly, but basically this VSS is broken right at the point where it goes into the crank case the shaft that spins with the gear is still sturdy and in tact, with this VSS still work? will it be safe to use?

I doubt it will last.......esp when the power steering fluid starts getting whipped around......

90-93 B tranny......

If you've done away with power steering you could replace it, I think I have one from a JDM B16 tranny.

What color is the gear on the end?

JB WELD the little shits... and go on with it!! just kidding.. i would recommend getting a new one..

also i'd like to add i've JB welded one before(last year) like that and its still working til this day..

Problem solved, i repaired my old one, and im good to go!

The pin that makes the gearspin the shaft popped out, so i put it back together, works like a charm now!
