Bore and Hone

I was just wondering how long should a bore and hone take? Im talking standard engine bore, nothing special.

Thanks

If the machine is open and the shop has a free employee, the hone process takes about 30 - 45 minutes. If it needs to be bored to a larger size, then add about an hour!

My machine shop took half a day to bore and hone a block for me. I actually THOUGHT it would take the whole day. Sorry to hear they took so long.

Jeez, there is nothing wrong with it taking a day. But it's nice to know how long it should take, for when you get your (hourly) bill.
