Agreed. James is the man. The dedication and support he provides to the community is top notch.

They've caught up on almost all features and even added a few that I haven't found useful enough to add yet. Basically, price and support are NepTune RTPs advantages right now. Just telling it like it is.

I will add to the fact that James handles customer support like a team of educated troubleshooters. There is no equal.
On top of that...I (and my tuner) just tuned my GSR this weekend...and he has never used Neptune, only Crome/Hondata. We blasted out 39 runs in just over three hours and he was thoroughly impressed with it and the myriad of features it has. I've used all the available tuning systems other than Motec and AEM. This is by far my favorite! Now I just to get my hands on the TunerView (James, any chance I could get in on pre-orders even though they are over with......pleeaasse)

Why not just buy the TunerView now? its already been released, I know he has some ready to ship. NepTunes software is very easy to work with, once you use it more you will fly right through it.

Its well worth it, a great piece for the price..... NepTune continues to make things affordable for the consumer.

Re: (HRTuning)
although i dont have RTP anymore, i must say that it is among the best customer service I have ever had. There is no question that goes unanswered and typically you will get an answer to your question in the same day, maybe even 5-10 minutes after you post!!
I'd like to become a dealer in the distant future, but i sold it so i could get some experiences with other platforms.
James and Neptune RTP get a from me

Re: Battle of Tuning: Neptune Vs Hondata s300
I've used both s300 and RTP.. I like RTP for two reasons
Anti-theft option in the ecu
Anti-lag - much more boom than Hondata or AEM.

Re: Battle of Tuning: Neptune Vs Hondata s300
Hi guys
I'm currently building a b18c turbo and want to use either Neptune or S300. Can you guys tell me how much cheaper the Neptune is and where?
Thanks

Good to see that people actually do search. No other way you would have found this thread.
But, you didn't search very hard. Some places you can get NepTune:
HRTuning - Home Of The NepTune RTP and TunerView (direct)
Phearable.net - Tuning Solutions
Xenocron Tuning: Fuel Management and DIY Tuning Resource Center for Honda and Acura Performance - Hondata, eCtune, Neptune, Crome, TurboEdit, Uberdata
The price difference between the two is marginal, so don't let that be the deciding factor for you. If you're not going to be tuning it yourself, you need to make sure one or the other is supported by whomever will be tuning the car. That all being said, I would take NepTune over Hondata... Strictly on personal preference.
