b20 vtec timing issue?
 

just installed a b16 pr3-2 head on my b20b1 block and everything was installed correctly except i can't get it to turn over, im pretty sure i hit the timing tdc but it won't turn over, just cranks and is pushing air through the intake...any ideas??? thanks in advance

First things first, check the simple shit.

Check for spark, fuel, and compression. Recheck timing and make sure the crank pulley is on TDC with both cam gears having the UP arrows both pointed straight up.

yea just rechecked all the main things, timing is tdc, fuel pressure is 45, and good spark

If everything is fine then check your grounds, firing order. Maybe try a different ecu.

yeah it all looks good, and i tried other ecu's
