b18c1 sensor help
 

ok some of you guys are gonna read and say what the hell, but i need some help figuring out a sensor, if youre looking at the motor, you have the vtec solenoid and under that you have the coolant temp sensor, and theres one kinda next to it and below it and i looked online and threw the haynes manual and i cant find out what it is. so i know theres some guru's on here that can help me.

picture? on the head there should be the coolant temp sensor and the sender for temp gauge in your cluster.

^ Terminology in that diagram doesn't really match the Helms. So just to clear things up:

ECT Switch = Fan switch

ECT Sensor = TW Sensor

ECT Sending Unit = Coolant Temperature

Fan switch = cooling fan switch
Coolant temperature = sends signal to gauge cluster
TW sensor = sends signal to ECU
