B-series Engine Mount Question

Is it necessary to have the A/C Mount if you don't have AC? I noticed this car doesn't.

Well your pic doesn't work, but the AC mount has that motor mount coming off of it, more like a stabilizer since it doesn't bear a huge amount of weight, but I'd bet your motor will torque a bit more w/o that mount costing you a bit of power.

Yah you need it. Not a mount, but a bracket.

AC compressor bolts onto it. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

Yeah you need it on most applications. With some 5th Gen civics without it the engine will sometimes hit the hood under power.

Its not really a weight bearing mount but it keeps the engine from rocking back and forth when punched.

You should run all the engine mounts...including the two forward torque mounts. They are there for a reason. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

If you don't have AC, you can run the Integra P72 AC bracket. They're much more common than the Del Sol P54 bracket which accepts the Civic compressor and therefore, much cheaper. I have an extra P72 WITH the mount if you're interested.
